Tetelestai is the Greek translation of the last words Jesus spoke on the cross when He said,
"IT IS FINISHED." John 19:30
TETELESTAI HOUSE is a faith-based nonprofit organization with a heart for the incarcerated and those impacted by incarceration.
Tetelestai House is a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) public charity.
We do a lot of things at TETELESTAI HOUSE!
Here are our three main areas of focus:
-
Our monthly jail ministry in various local county jails in Arkansas
-
The operation of our restoration living facility (located in Omaha, Arkansas) for women coming out of county jail who want to make a change in their lives. We provide a safe, drug free, violence free environment for the ladies to begin again.
-
our regular Community Outreach activities, ministering to those impacted by incarceration and addiction
Our housing facility offers a one year+ program where residents spend each day in God's Word--learning about who Jesus is and how His principles are to be applied to their individual lives. We teach life skills and offer classes according to residents' needs (i.e. GED prep, job readiness, etc.), in order to help the ladies reenter the work force and become productive citizens once again.
We have had many women call TETELESTAI HOUSE home since we took our first resident in 2014. At TETELESTAI HOUSE, we want our ladies to know that that their "old life" can be dead and gone, and there can be "new life" found in Christ Jesus!
Tracy Lindsey
Tracy was a drug addict for 16 years. During that time, she walked out on her husband and three children, leaving behind anyone who had ever truly loved her. Her life spiraled out of control and she wondered many days why she was still alive. Her life of drugs and crime resulted in a 3 year sentence in prison at the Arkansas Department of Corrections.
While in prison, Tracy turned her life over to Christ. Since her release in 2010, she has been actively serving in a local New Testament church and God began to plug her into jail ministry. It was there that she saw the need for a way to come alongside the ladies when they were released. After much prayer, God began to set things in motion and Tetelestai House was born.
Over time, God restored her broken family. She and her husband, Ron, have been married over 20 years and enjoy spending time with their children and four grandchildren.
God has taken that which the enemy meant for harm and is using it to powerfully impact His Kingdom!
